Background & Experience
Jeffrey F. Mangeno, raised in McLean Virginia, graduated from Virginia Tech and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University in 2000.
Jeff is an extremely versatile attorney offering a solid track record of litigation success and experience in various facets of the law with an emphasis on criminal matters. His clients are Northern Virginia and Washington DC area executives with security clearances and highly professional entities, inclusive of professional athletes.
He recognizes that a person or business suspected of, or charged with, a criminal offense needs representation that is immediate and responsive. He evaluates the facts and circumstance of each case and then develops effective strategies to ensure that the client’s best interests are protected. He has extensive experience representing clients from the investigative and pre-indictment stage through trial and sentencing.
Jeff appears regularly in the Northern Virginia Circuit Courts, General District Courts, and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Courts – particularly in Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Arlington and Alexandria – as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. His familiarity with these courts, investigators, local prosecutors’ offices, and law enforcement agencies and their individual officers and detectives, allow him to assist clients as they navigate the criminal justice system. Jeff is an accomplished lawyer with a successful track record of resolving difficult criminal and civil cases in courts throughout the Northern Virginia area.
Jeff has tried hundreds of bench and jury trials ranging from criminal offenses to civil disputes. Jeff’s cases primarily include traffic offenses, DUI/DWI, assault and malicious wounding, drug possession and distribution, theft, white collar crimes, sexual offenses including but not limited to rape, child pornography, and sexual offenses involving both children and adults.
Jeff actively participates with the local bar associations and is admitted to practice in the Virginia Federal District Court and the Supreme Court of Virginia.
