Christina M. Barnes is a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Paralegal at Dycio & Biggs, having joined the firm in 2010. With more than 20 years of legal experience, she plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s legal team throughout all stages of litigation, offering diligent and efficient assistance across a wide range of legal matters. Christina’s approach is rooted in a deep understanding of each client’s unique challenges, ensuring exceptional service delivered with a personal touch.

Christina is highly skilled in legal research, document management, and case preparation. She excels at investigating, organizing, and analyzing large volumes of legal documents, while leveraging online resources, databases, and research tools to ensure that Dycio & Biggs stays well-informed and up-to-date on crucial case details. Additionally, she has extensive experience in drafting pleadings, preparing document lists, managing document production, and maintaining effective communication with clients and related parties.

Christina has developed specialized knowledge in the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) licensing process, having assisted with hundreds of retail license applications for clients. This expertise has made her an invaluable asset to the firm in matters involving ABC regulations.

Christina attended the University of Georgia and earned her degree with Honors from the National Paralegal College. Before joining Dycio & Biggs, she gained extensive experience with a Georgia-based firm specializing in bankruptcy law. She further honed her skills at a Kansas law firm practicing in bankruptcy, family law, and criminal law, and contributed to the Division of Child Support Enforcement, ensuring the accuracy and completion of complex cases. Christina also worked with the traffic division at the Fairfax County General District Court in Virginia.

Outside of her professional work, Christina enjoys spending time with her large family and entertaining friends and loved ones. Her wealth of experience, coupled with her passion for client service, makes her an indispensable member of the Dycio & Biggs team.
